Take2PadelCookie policy
Last updated 17 August 2026
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website work properly, remember your preferences, and understand how it’s used.
2. How we use cookies
Take2Padel uses a single first-party cookie, to keep you signed in while you browse, list a racket, or check out. We don’t currently use analytics, marketing or advertising cookies of our own.
3. The cookie we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
take2_session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in between visits | Up to 30 days |
Because this cookie is strictly necessary for signing in and isn’t used for tracking or advertising, UK rules don’t require a consent banner for it — but you can still block or delete it at any time (see Section 5).
4. Stripe, at checkout
When you check out, you’re taken to a secure payment page hosted by Stripe, our payment processor, to enter your card details. While you’re on that page, Stripe may set its own cookies (for example __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) on stripe.com, to prevent fraud and keep your payment session secure. These are set by Stripe, not by Take2Padel — see Stripe’s own Cookie policy for details.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking our session cookie will sign you out and stop parts of the Platform that require an account, such as checkout, from working.
6. Changes to this policy
If we add analytics, marketing, or other non-essential cookies in future, we’ll update this page first and add a consent banner so you can accept or decline them before they’re set.
