Yes. Buyers can browse pre-owned padel rackets, compare prices and check out with Stripe. Sellers are guided through the listing in a few short steps, and nothing is published until a person at Take2Padel has read the details and photos.
The buyer pays securely through Stripe and the seller’s proceeds are held while the racket is delivered. The buyer then has a review period to confirm it arrived as described. If there is a genuine problem, they can report it before the payout is released and Take2Padel can review the evidence.
Creating a listing is free, so there is nothing to pay upfront. When the racket sells, Take2Padel’s fee is 9% + £1.49 and the seller receives the rest of the item price — £89.51 on a £100 racket. Any delivery charge is shown separately to the buyer.
Yes. Take2Padel connects buyers and sellers across the UK. Orders use tracked delivery so both sides can follow the parcel, and tracking helps us confirm when the buyer’s review period and seller payout should begin.
Free UK delivery on orders over £100. Below that, tracked delivery is £5.99, shown before you pay. Where the seller offers collection you can choose it at checkout instead, with no delivery charge — you arrange the handover in Take2Padel messages and give the seller your collection code once you're happy with the racket. We deliver anywhere in the UK, including Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands. We can't currently deliver to the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
The grade comes from six questions the seller answers about the racket (hours played, cracks, repairs, chips, scratches and grip wear), scored the same way every time. Take2Padel reviews the photos and details of every submission before it goes live, and can change the grade or reject the listing. Any crack, any repair (even a professional one) and any deep chip is flagged for closer review before the racket can be listed, however good the other answers are. Take2Padel doesn't physically handle the racket, since it's posted straight from the seller to you, so the grade is an informed description based on the seller's answers and photos, not an independent physical inspection.
